Trevenson Cobras Get a Well Deserved Away Win

Trevenson U16 Cobras travelled to Probus with a view to build on some good performances in the previous weeks. The game started well with Trevenson getting the ball down under control with the pitch suffering from the wet weather and tried to play their football. Both sides traded attacks with both keepers doing their job and repelling the attackers. Trevenson broke the deadlock with some good inter passing that saw Man of the match Matt Allum play a good ball through towards the Probus goal that the keeper failed to deal with after coming from his line and in form Jordan Lawry tucked it away from 20 yards.

The second half started well again with the Trevenson players getting into a rhythm but were nearly undone from a great through ball that split the Trevenson defence but an alert Connor Tregidga in the Trevenson goal swept this up with a great clearance. Trevenson started to boss the midfield with Tom Axon and Torin Beckerlegg playing their part when Chris Harvey James played a ball down the line for Cadan Watson to outpace the defender and past an on rushing keeper to slot home from an almost impossible angle. Probus kept playing their game but the Cobras were able to deal with all of the treats to hold out for a good away win. Final Score Probus U16s  0 Trevenson U16 Cobras 2
